The Scouting section at the 231st is a very large an active section. We pride this success on providing an exciting balanced program that the young people we have obviously enjoy. The program usually includes climbing, canoeing, camping, hiking, cooking, first aid, team games, arts and crafts as well as the traditional scouting skills.

At Shiregreen we are one large Scout Troop!

Scouts meet every Tuesday: 7pm - 9pm

FAQs
Q: How much are subs?
A: Scout subs are £15 per month and are paid by standing order. We allow Scouts their first month for free to make sure that they want to join us before parents/carers commit.

Q: What about the Uniform?
A: Scouts do wear a uniform. Information about the uniform & where to buy it from can be found in your welcome pack when your child joins. Again, we allow a month to pass before parents/carers commit to buying a uniform!
