Scout Active Support is set up to be a support unit available to Scout groups in their local area. Units are made up of current leaders, ex-leaders, helpers and non-scouting people. It is not a requirement to be a leader to join the Unit but leaders are not turned away either.

In October 2016, we opened up our very own Scout Active Support Unit, linked to our group. This has allowed parents to join the adventure in a much more flexible way. Allowing them to help at certain event, including weekend days, camps and fundraising events.

Our local District SAS Unit is Don District Scout Active Support Unit. They support scouting in the local area by helping at district events for the different sections.
